CDA Eagle Watch 2011
One of my favorite FREE Local Events is here!!!
I love heading over to CDA and watching the Bald Eagles. John and I have gone the past few years and have plans to go again this year. I think it is amazing to watch the Bald Eagles. The picture above was taken last year when we went and watched the eagles.
The BLM and Idaho Fish and Game host “Eagle Watch”. It begins the day after Christmas, December 26th, and runs through January 1st. It’s a free event!!!
December is the peak month to view the eagles
BLM and Idaho and Fish and Game staff will be available with spotting scopes, informational brochures and can offer their expertise on the eagles.
“Eagle Watch” sites are at the Mineral Ridge boat launch and trail head parking areas. Parking is open from 10 am to 3 pm each day during Eagle Watch week.
To get there, take Exit 22 off I-90 and then travel south around Wolf Lodge Bay.
Let me know if you head out to Eagle Watch! I would love to hear what you thought.
