30 Day Blogging Challenge Day 6 – My Favorite Cartoon Growing Up Was
I loved the Smurfs growing up! I can remember being so excited for Saturday morning cartoons to start and the Smurfs to come on. I loved them so much that I named my cat growing up Papa Smurf. I had a Smurf cake at one point as a kid that my Mom just gave to me. She had been holding onto the cake pan not the cake for this long 
I still smile when I think about the Smurfs. I loved the new Smurf movie that came out about a year ago. We went to see it with one of John’s really good friends in Montana. He was also a huge fan of the Smurfs growing up. During this time McDonald’s had Smurf toys in their happy meals. We decided it would be fun to hide a few Smurf toys in John’s friends house and see how long it took him to find them all. I hid them in the light fixture, bathroom counter, on his pillow, in the dryer sheet box, in the freezer and a few other random places in the house. It was so much fun getting the phone calls asking if he had found them all. The funny thing is this was a year ago and he still asks now to make sure that he found them all in his house. I have a few ideas already on what Smurf things we are going to hide the next time we are at his house.
