We asked everyone for their best Summer Safety Tips as part of the giveaway and I wanted to share some of the wonderful tips that were shared.
Pauline - Never go swimming or boating alone
Loretta – Lots of Bugs Spray and sunscreen
Liberty – Never leave an animal in a car/truck unattended…Even for a few minutes! Cars can heat up super fast, and no one wants to kill their pet!
Karen – Drink lots of water
Heather - Never underestimate the importance of sunblock.
Carol - always put a life jacket on it saved my life one time dress it up safety first
Sandra - Never leave your child unattended while outdoors. It only takes a second for them to fall in the pool, walk into traffic or some other accident that could’ve been avoided with supervision
Elven - Never go alone…anywhere!!
Deb - My best summer safety tip would be to drink lots of water and try to stay cool.
Aria - Sunscreen, plenty of water if you are exerting yourself. Try to keep dogs tender paws off hot pavement.
Betty - We are around water a lot during the summer and safety is always a concern to me whether it is at the river, lake, or beach. My kids and their friends are required have some type safety device on when they enter the water – if I am responsible for their safety. They also never swim alone. I have strong feeling about water safety but I have not had one hurt while in my care – even though I get some eye rolling from the teen. lol
Sarah - always check for ticks.my daughter has lime disease its not fun
Shea - Keep an eye on outside pets during the summer! They can easily get too hot. Make sure they have plenty of cool fresh water and hose them down with water if temperatures get too hot!
Terri - Water, juice and no alcohol in the sun! Many people get dehydrated in the Summer!
