Mini Apple Pies
My Mom bought the My Lil Pie Makers Pie Pan and is in love with it. She has been making all kinds of mini pies since it came in a couple of weeks ago. One of her favorites to make is these Mini Apple Pies. She has been making batches of them and sticking them in the freezer. When they want a dessert treat my Mom grabs one from the freezer, heats it up and adds a scoop of vanilla ice cream. She said they worked great for a dinner party also. Everyone had the option of choosing what type of pie they wanted for dessert.
1 large Granny Smith Apple- cut in very small pieces
½ t ground cinnamon
1 T Vanilla
1 package Pie Crust
Mix all above and let sit
Cut the pie crust and place in pie molds.
Fill molds, but don’t over fill.
Place top on each pie and use egg wash to seal.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until golden brown
with Lili pie maker molds on a cookie sheet.
PS: don’t over fill! The pie filling comes over the top and they taste great but do not look as cute as when they are perfectly filled.
