We saved $240/year today with 1 phone call!

Today we were able to save $240/year by making 1 phone call to our cable provider. I was looking at our bill and felt like our TV bill was way to high. We do not watch that much TV and I could not justify paying the rate each month. John went through and looked at the TV channels that we watch and the packages that were available from the company. By giving up 1 TV channel that we rarely watch we were able to lower our monthly bills by over $20 a month. I really wish we would have realized sooner that we could save $20+ a month just for giving up one channel.

Now we are on a mission to look at each of our monthly bills and see if there are charges we can cut. I would much rather keep the money in my checking account instead of paying for monthly charges we do not need.
