Last week John surprised me on our date day with a trip to Manito Gardens. He knows how much I love taking pictures of the flowers. I thought I would share some of our favorite photos from the Dahlia gardens. I am in awe of these flowers. I would love to plant a ton of them in our back yard. They bring back memories of working at Camp Seymour in Key Center, WA. There was a u-pick Dahlia garden near the camp. We would go on our 2 hour break and pick a ton of Dahlias for our cabins. They were $.10 a flower so we could afford to fill our cabins with them. I would love to grow Dahlias in our garden. I need to do a bit of research to see what it takes to grow them. Until I figure it out I will keep visiting the Dahlia Gardens during the summer.
The Dahlia Garden is located in the heart of Manito Gardens. There is so much to see in the gardens. I love visiting the Japanese Gardens and the English Gardens.
