Candy Corn Cupcakes

I am having so much fun making things into Candy Corn colors. Did you see the Candy Corn Fruit Parfait we made yesterday? Today I decided to surprise John’s office with Halloween Cupcakes for their staff meeting. I made Candy Corn Cupcakes as a treat.

These were super easy to make and so much fun. I used food coloring to color the white cake batter orange and yellow. I filled the cupcake with yellow batter and let it sit for a few minutes before putting in the orange batter. I found if I add the orange batter right after the yellow they start to mix together and become more tie dyed than layered.

I baked the cupcakes according to the directions and then added white icing to top it off.

I used white cupcake liners so the colors would show through.
