As many of you know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. In order to help raise awareness, a team of bloggers have put together this giveaway for you. In 2011, it was estimated that 1 in 8 women developed invasive breast cancer with even more developing non-invasive breast cancer. In 2011, there were more than 2.6 million breast cancer survivors in the US and this number can continue to grow as we spread awareness!

Please visit Breastcancer.org in order to find out more statistics, symptoms and information on how to examine yourself. About 85% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer so please, regardless of whether you are 20 or 50, get yourself checked!
