Have you seen the As Seen on TV Lint Lizard ~ Lint Trap Cleaning Tool commercials? Every time I see one I start to worry about how much lint is trapped in our dryer and the house burning down. John and I had the chance to try a Lint Lizard out and I jumped at the opportunity. We do a good job of emptying the lint tray each time we dry clothes but you just never know how much is down deep in the dryer. I am so short that trying to see down into the dryer is a challenge to say the least. This morning John and I used the Lint Lizard to see what we could get out of the dryer.

The Lint Lizard hose went straight into our dryer and we could see lint coming up the clear tube instantly. When I stood on my tip toes and looked into the dryer vent I could see a section with a large clump of lint build up. I tried to move the Lint Lizard towards it but could not get the correct angle. The Lint Lizard tube is wrapped in a circle in the box. The tube wanted to keep going in the same direction which unfortunately for me was the opposite way of the lint. John did some maneuvering with it and was able to use his height to see into the dryer and maneuver the Lint Lizard.
I have not tried using the Lint Lizard to clean our outside vents yet. It was a bit too chilly this morning to be out there trying to clean the vents. I do like that the Lint Lizard tube fits under the washer/dryer and helped clean out the dust bunnies.
