I love trying new recipes I find on Pinterest. For the most part they turn out amazing and I am so happy with them. This recipe for Cake batter fudge did not turn out anything like I had hoped it would.
I ended up making this recipe twice hoping that it would work out. I wasn’t sure if our microwave had gone a bit crazy and cooked it to hot but it still did not turn out the second time. I do have to say that even though it did not firm up to become a fudge like consistency it did taste really good. The problem is it is really slimy. There is no other term to describe it. It slips and slides all over the place and we had to try it with a spoon.
Have you tried making Cake Batter Fudge? I would love to know if it turned out and what recipe you used.
This recipe tasted so good but was so not the right texture for fudge.
I have been hearing that you have to add in more cake batter slowly but surely to get the right texture. I am going to have to try this recipe again and see if i can get it to work.

I had this happen one time with peanut butter fudge and we ended up using it as ice cream topping and everyone loved it. Cake batter on top of vanilla ice cream sounds pretty yummy!
