Last night the Monster Jam Spokane show roared into action! John and I had so much fun at this event. We started the night off grabbing a pair of ear plugs which were greatly needed. When the trucks fire up their engines the whole Spokane Arena feels like it is rumbling and shaking. One of the things I really like about the Monster Jam Spokane show is how interactive and fun the show is. The announcer keeps the crowd entertained before, during and through the entire show. There are no dead times or moments of boredom during this show. The entire show flew by and all of a sudden we were at the end.
The crowd went wild for Grave Digger! I was so impressed to see the driver of Grave Digger hop out of his truck and come up in the stands. He presented a kid a few rows in front of us with a Grave Digger plaque. The kid hugged the plague to his chest for the rest of the show and was so excited. I love that the drivers come out in the crowds and shake peoples hands and greet them. It is so cool to see the kids jumping up and down and screaming because they got to meet a Monster Truck driver.
I have to admit I was totally in awe when I saw the Hot Wheels truck get enough air that it was up by the 2nd level of the Spokane Arena. I can not imagine what it feels like when the truck lands. My body hurts just thinking about the landing and I really hope they have some killer shocks in their trucks.
Captain America had a fantastic run around the Spokane Arena and won the event! I will admit that I was shocked that Grave Digger did not win. He was clearly the crowd favorite.
Monster Jam will be at the Spokane Arena for the rest of the weekend! You can still buy tickets at the event or from Ticketswest.

This is the third time trying to comment here. I am going to assume my technology has a problem right now because this is the second or third try for two of my friends here. I was excited to see this post because my dd and DH are there today and they went last night too.
Wow, those are some amazing pictures! It sounds like a great show and one that my son and nephew would love to attend. I’ll have to check the schedule to see when it’s coming to Cleveland.
