The sites and sounds of Las Vegas do not end when you hit the end of the main Vegas Strip. If you continue driving Las Vegas Boulevard you reach Downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street. This is the old part of town and not to be missed.
This part of the strip has a ton of the wedding chapels we have all heard of. It is so much fun to drive by and see all of the names for the wedding chapels. We saw people lines up in wedding dresses to get married while we were there.
There is even a giant Elvis on one of the wedding chapels.
The Gold and Silver Pawn Shop from Pawn Stars TV Show is right on the strip. You can’t miss it as you drive down the street. There is parking on the side of the building if you would like to drop in for a visit.
Along the center of Las Vegas Boulevard there are multiple examples of neon lights that the Neon Museum has refurbished and brought back to life. These are great to see during the day and night.
