During our day in Skagway we stopped and visited the Klondike Gold Rush Visitor Center. It is free to visit the Klondike Gold Rush Visitor Center and well worth stopping in for a visit.
The Mascot Saloon has been recreated thanks to the National Park Service.
It is really cool to see what the Mascot Saloon would have looked like during the height of the gold rush. I can only imagine how packed this saloon would have been with miners hoping for a little liquid gold.
Being a Washington Girl it was pretty cool seeing the old Rainier Beer Bottles in the window.
The stop in the Klondike Gold Rush Visitor Center and Mascot Saloon only took us a few minutes but we really enjoyed it.
