A huge thank you to Carnival for hosting John and I on the Carnival Breeze. We had a truly amazing time exploring the Carnival Breeze and ports of calls. I am so excited to share with you some of the highlights of our trip on the Carnival Breeze!
From the moment we boarded to our last day at Sea the staff and environment on the Carnival Breeze was truly amazing. This was our 8th cruise and I have to say I was so impressed with this ship. When we arrived in our stateroom we were greeted with one of my favorite parts of a Carnival Cruise….A Towel Animal!
You can’t help but smile when you walk into your room and find a towel animal. At the end of each night John and I would race to see who could get to our room the fastest to see what the towel animal was.
Can you say HELLO CHEESECAKE! Oh yes that is the 15 oz cheesecake John was served in the Fahrenheit 555 steak house. I thought John’s eyes were going to pop out when the waiter sat it down in front of him. The waiter had mentioned it was large, but I don’t think either of us were expected 15 ounces of gourmet cheesecake. John said it tasted AMAZING! I could not tear myself away from the chocolate sampler I was enjoying to taste it.
The Carnival Breeze is set up with so many amazing areas to explore. One of our favorites was the Adult Sanctuary. There were 1300 seriously excited kids on our cruise. It was really nice to head up to the adult sanctuary and spend some time relaxing together. The Sanctuary has amazing outdoor chairs, sun shades and even a hammock or 2. I highly suggest trying the pineapple drink that John has in his hand. Oh my goodness it was refreshing and oh so lovely. I tried a Kiss on the Lips and it was amazing! I am going to try to make it at home soon and see if I can recreate it.
Check out the view from the foosball table. The Sports Court on the Carnival Breeze has a little bit of everything including foosball, pool tables, punching bags, EA Sports Games, Putt Putt Golf and a ropes course. You really can’t get much better of a view for playing a bit off foosball or pool. I liked that I could blame the rocking of the ship for my not playing the best game of pool.
The Carnival Breeze has multiple specialty restaurants including Guy’s Burger Joint. The Guys Burger Joint was one of John’s favorite places to stop on the Carnival Breeze. Every time I asked what he would like to eat I knew what the answer was going to be. John loved the Ringer Burger and the toppings bar that is right next to the restaurant.
The Red Frog Pub on the Carnival Breeze advises you to live thirsty. I think John was in the running for their spokesman position on our cruise. It was so nice relaxing in the pub and listening to the live music and talking with the great bartenders. There is a fun, relaxed, chill vibe in the Red Frog Pub and you can’t help but have a seriously great time.
Over the next few weeks I will be sharing more on our adventure on the Carnival Breeze. We had such an amazing time on this cruise.
