I have to start off by saying that Aruba is truly one of our favorite places in the world. It is hard to describe how picture perfect the island of Aruba is. From the moment you step onto the island you are transported to tropical paradise. The blue water, soft sand and amazing people truly make this island unforgettable.
One of our favorite spots on Aruba is Eagle Beach. The water is AH-Mazing! Seriously it feels like bath water as you dive into it. Aruba has some of the warmest water we have experienced in the Caribbean. The sand is so soft you want to walk in it for hours. The beach is lined with chairs, huts and everything you need to spend the day relaxing in the Aruban sunshine.
You can see how excited and happy John is to be back on his favorite beach. I am pretty sure he would jaunt off to Aruba every chance he could. I know for a fact he would be happy to use all of his vacation time floating the time away in the warm water.
If you are a fan of shopping than you will love Aruba! There is a great open air marketplace downtown Oranjestad that is filled with amazing souveniers and fun items. Across the street from the market there is an open air bar on the second floor that is really fun.
The bartenders know how to blend up the perfect tropical concoction. They are so good I had to try John’s and mine at the same time.
Getting around Aruba is easy-peasy! There is a fantastic public bus system that will take you all over the island without a problem. We love taking the bus from Oranjestad to Eagle Beach and the other beaches. It is only a couple of bucks and the ride is beautiful. You can even ride the bus to the Hard Rock Cafe and other restaurants in the resort area.
Aruba travel is truly one of the best vacations available. The combination of great food, amazing sites, wonderful people and so much more make a trip to Aruba unforgettable. I really hope that John and I can visit Aruba again in the near future. We have only been to Aruba on day trips off of a cruise ship and would love to go back for a week to truly explore the island. There is just so much to see and do on the gorgeous island of Aruba. Check out these great videos showcasing some of the amazing things you can do on the island of Aruba
Are you ready to hop on a plane and head to Aruba?? Me Too!
