I travel almost weekly right now and have found that creating my own Travel First Aid Kit has come in handy more times than I would have imagined. Everything from paper cuts to blisters and stomach issues seems to happen while traveling. You just never know what you are going to run into. One thing for sure is you don’t want to add a ton of weight to your bags while traveling. I built my own travel first aid kit and today I am sharing what I take with me each week while traveling.
We always stop at CVS while traveling to stock up on our favorite items. They have everything we need plus great chocolate so what more can you ask for!
This is my basic travel first aid kit that I take with me weekly. I will add to this depending on the type of trip we are going on.
If we are going someplace warm and tropical, I add in CVS sunscreen, aloe gel, sunscreen chapstick and other tropical necessities. Have you tried CVS Sunscreen? It is crazy amazing! We take it with us on every tropical vacation or any trip we hope to see the sun.
If we are traveling to a city, we are going to do a ton of walking in I make sure and have lots of blister band aids along with comfy socks and heel cream.
Each trip this kit gets changed up a bit, but I wanted to share my absolute must-haves for any trip.
Travel First Aid Kit
CVS Advanced Healing Premium Bandages – these are 100% waterproof!
Antibacterial moist wipes (these work for cleaning off airplane trays another sketchy germy spots in a pinch)
CVS Sheer Bandages
CVS Air Shield immune support
CVS Migraine Relief or CVS Aspirin
CVS Chewable Vitamin C
CVS Triple Antibiotic Infection Protection
Small package of Kleenex
I pack everything in a cute little makeup bag inside a ziploc bag. The ziploc bag is great just in case anything leaks, but it also works in a pinch if I pick up shells or something on a trip and need a bag for it.
I’m proud to partner with CVS/pharmacy for the #FindYourHealthy campaign. I am being sponsored by CVS/pharmacy for my posts and activities, but all opinions expressed are my own, and all product claims or program details shared should be verified at CVS.com or with the appropriate manufacturers.
