This super cute and easy Peeps Easter Centerpiece is well…..super easy!
Are you a fan of Peeps?
Every time I see a Peep I think of my best friend from high school Heather. She loved Peeps. I mean seriously hearts and flowers loved them. It is such a fun memory of high school and Easter for me. I giggle when I think of us having picnics inside because it would still be way to cold outside in Seattle before Easter and having Peeps as our main picnic items.
I know..not the most healthy of picnics but we were in high school and well you remember what those days were like 🙂
I found everything I needed to make this Easy Peeps Easter Centerpiece at Walmart and the Dollar Store.
Here is a breakdown of the supplies
Dollar store items
Green Basket $1
Basket filler $1
Styrofoam garden blocks $1
Large Peeps $1.18
Regular size Peeps $1.08/box X colors (I bought purple ones also but ended up not using them.
I had the colorful straws already, you can find them at Target or any craft store
Total price – $7.42 + tax
I love that this was under $10.00 to make! It is so fun and seriously easy to make!
Here is how I made this cute and easy Peeps Easter Centerpiece
I stacked the Styrofoam blocks on top of each other to fill as much of the basket as I could.
Spread the multi color grass over the blocks so they are fully covered. I used 1/2 of a bag from the dollar store. I thought it would take a lot more but the grass expanded and filled in the basket.
So…..the next step I didn’t post a picture of because well…..sticking a straw in the bottom of a Peep is well ….you can imagine how it looked.
I arranged the straws around the basket by sticking them into the foam.
I hope you enjoy our super cute and easy Peeps Easter Centerpiece!
