One of my favorite recipes that we have made is the Pineapple Angel Food Cake! It is so easy to make and tastes amazing. I have been wondering how I could adapt this recipe to include other fruits. These Chocolate Frosted Brownies turned out amazing! It tasted great, was super easy to make and will definitely be made again. I do have to admit that the middle of my brownies sunk like the Titanic when I took them out of the oven. In the future I will make sure that I grabbed the right size baking dish. I grabbed an 8X8 pan instead of a 9X13 pan. The batter was a bit to thick for it to bake evenly in the 8X8 pan. Even with the sinking these tasted amazing.
Chocolate Frosted Brownies
A couple of nights ago we had our neighbor over to watch TV and catch up. I needed to put together a super quick and easy appetizer last minute. I decided to combine a couple of my favorite things…Cheese, bread and marinara sauce and make Cheesy Biscuit Bites. I thankfully had everything I needed in the fridge.
These Cheesy Biscuit Bites were super easy to make and tasted great.
I thought it would be fun to make Celtic Knot Rolls for St. Patrick’s Day. These rolls were a lot of fun to make. They are soft and make fantastic dinner rolls to go with our favorite Crock Pot Corned Beef or Guinness Glazed Corned Beef and Cabbage! I am sure there will also be a bit of Green Beer to go along with this meal.

I can’t get the quote “Does your house rise up to great you” out of my head lately. As I have been looking around our house I realized that it really did not look the way I wanted it to. We moved in a little over a year and a half ago and it does not look like I want it to. This year I am focusing on making our house a place I want to relax in and enjoy. The first room I decided to attack/clean was our master bedroom. I want this room to be a relaxing sanctuary that is not cluttered or filled with random stuff.
Here are a few of the tips and tricks I use for deep cleaning our bedroom.
Cleaning your mattress
These may be the worlds easiest and most buttery biscuits! OK maybe not the worlds easiest but pretty dang easy! These baked really quickly and were super yummy! I think you will love these 7 Up Biscuits!
My next goal is to try and make breakfast biscuits. John is a huge fan of biscuits and gravy. He raves about his Mom’s biscuits. I really want to work on making biscuits and surprise him with them one morning. Do you have a biscuit recipe you love? I would love to hear about it. For some reason Biscuits and Croissants are 2 pastries I have not tried making yet. I am setting the goal of making both of these in the next month. I will keep you up to date on how that goal goes.
