We had the opportunity to try Franz Gluten Free Bread this week! I had never had gluten free bread so I was really interested to try it and see what we thought. I knew before we tried it that it would not taste like the normal wheat bread that we normally purchase. I found the Franz Gluten Free Bread to have a really nice flavor. [Read more...]

Nutella Banana Bread Recipe

My lovely husband told that we should try mixing nutella into my favorite banana bread. I was a bit skeptical of Nutella Banana Bread but I decided to try it out and see how it worked. We love making 3 ingredient Nutella Cookies, Nutella Hot Chocolate, and this truly easy to make 2 ingredient Nutella fudge.

Cute and Easy Valentine’s Day Breakfast Heart Toast

I have been having so much fun putting together frugal Valentine’s Day treats. I love making special treats for my loved ones. There is nothing quite like a home cooked meal or treat to show your love. I made up this super cute and easy Valentine’s Day Breakfast for John.

Heart Toast

I used  Wilton From The Heart Nesting Cookie Cutter  to cut the heart shape into the toast. John likes his eggs sunny side up so this recipe worked great for our Valentine’s Day Breakfast . I simply placed the egg yolk in the middle of the bread on a medium-high heat skillet. I used a Cookie Spatula so I could get the spatula all the way under the bread to flip it over. [Read more...]

John and I were talking about Elvis’s love for peanut butter banana sandwiches and we came up with trying it with nutella. We then had to take it to a whole new level and use the Panini Maker to make it crispy and super yummy!

Candy Corn Krispie Treats

Candy Corn Krispie Treats

I thought it would be fun to spice up regular Krispie Treats and make them resemble candy corn. I wish the picture would show how bright the colors were.

I used food coloring to color the marshmallows as I made the krispie treats.

I layered the krispie treats in a bread pan one after each other. I was able to push the colors together so everything was melded together and showed each color.

I cut the treats into slices and into the shape of candy corn. The slices showed the color a bit more but the candy corn shape was super cute.
