I was recently given the opportunity to try Garnier Fructis’s New Sleek & Shine Blow Dry Protector. Bzzagent provided me with a complete kit to try. The box says that the patented innovation is supposed to last up to 7 shampoos and tame frizz. My hair is currently pretty long. I am counting down the days until I get it chopped off again. I am 2 weeks out and counting. I was really excited to try a product that is supposed to cut down on frizz and help speed up blow drying time.

The product is a 2 step process. You shampoo and towel dry then put on a 20 minute smooth it serum. The serum has to be put on with plastic gloves that are provided. I have to say the only thing I did not like about the process was the smell of the serum. It smells like you are in a beauty salon. I was not prepared for the chemical smell it puts off. Other than that the serum goes on really easily. I used the 20 minutes as the perfect time to relax and read a magazine. After 20 minutes you wash the serum out with warm water. You then towel dry your hair and apply the Heat Activated Perfect-It Cream. This helps smooth out hair. The cream felt like gel you would put in your hair. I do have to say that my hair blow dried very quickly after putting this in. My hair is really straight and smooth for only using a brush and a blow drier. The box says that you can  use a flat iron to really seal in the smoothness for your hair.

Overall I really liked the product minus the smell. It was a very fast and easy way to make my hair smooth and frizz free.
