Have you ever wanted to make your own Homemade dog food?

I just found a site that offers tons of recipes and tools formaking dog food at home. With all of the recalls lately on dog food I think it would be interesting to make your own dog food. That way you know exactly what went into your pets food. The recipes on this page include most things that you would already have in your house.

One of the recipes I looked at gave you the opportunity to make a large batch of dog food and break it into a couple days worth of servings to freeze. You are able to pull out exactly what your dog needs for a specific amount of time.

There is a lot of great information on pet health and why the author uses the specific ingredientst that they do.
