Making healthier choices with Healthy Choice!

This week I ended up at the doctors office with bronchitis. While I was there I had to step on the dreaded scale.  Sadly the scale did not say the number I was hoping it would. So John and I are refocusing on making healthier choices. We headed to Walmart to find healthier options that still fit with our crazy lifestyle.

Healthy Choices Top Chef Meals

Before we left for Walmart I printed a great coupon for Healthy Choice meals. I love that these meals are quick and easy to make without being loaded down with crazy ingredients. Cheering on Gonzaga Basketball in Las Vegas with Kettle Chips!

Do you ever have coulda, woulda, shoulda moments? That is the moments that I had this week. We have been in Las Vegas this week on vacation. Somehow we totally forgot that Gonzaga would be playing in the basketball championship games here in Las Vegas while we were in town! I would have loved to have cheered Gonzaga on in person at the event. Sadly we did not think ahead or plan on attending the championship games. So instead we decided to cheer on Gonzaga from our condo.

They are the perfect salty yummy treat to help cheer on the Zags. Plus with everyone cheering it masks me munching away on the Kettle Chips. [Read more...]

I have been seeing a lot of information on the new flavor of Silk Soy milk and love all of the recipes on their website.

I headed to Walmart to pick up the essentials for making Tomato Basil Soup along with a few other grocery items. I was really amazed at how empty the store was. I was able to pick up everything I needed and not run into any huge lines. I guess that is the bonus for going grocery shopping after 9pm.
