Recently Twinings Tea asked me to think about being my best blend. Being the best person I can be and what that means to me. You guys this hit me in all the deep places of my emotions and spirits. All of a sudden I had to sit down and really think about if I am being my best self and the answers were not quite what I wanted them to be.
Looking ahead to 2018 and even into the holidays I realized that I really want to focus on being a better blend of me. Not letting one part of me outshine or out weight another. If you watch our Instagram stories you know that I started self care Saturdays a few months ago. We now have a rule in the house that we have to spend Saturday mornings taking care of us. No computer work, no phones, no distractions until noon at the earliest.
In looking at if I was being my best blend I realized that I was working way more than I was relaxing or savoring the moment. This awareness is pushing me to spend more time really working on being my best self. Taking time to meditate, drink a delicious cup of Twinings tea and savoring the moment.
We are in Maui this week on a much needed break. This trip was literally planned 48 hours before we hopped on a plane and headed to the islands. We found a killer deal, looked at each other and said BOOK IT! While I have been here I have been spending time on the balcony with a hot cup of tea relaxing and thinking about goals for 2018.
How do you make sure you are being your best blend?

Twinings of London recently add in a few new tea blends that are so good! Make sure and check out Lemon Delight, Buttermint and Berry Fusion the next time you are shopping for tea!
Did you know that Twinings has nine Twinings master blenders that travel the world to find the best teas, spices, herbs and fruit infusions! Talk about a dream job!
Lemon Delight is perfect to kick off the day! A fresh uplifting taste of lemon joined with white hibiscus, lemon grass, lemon peel, verbena to make a refreshing well-balanced tea.
Funny thing I hunted all over the island for white hibiscus flowers to take pics of with this tea and had no luck finding them. I found pink, red and every other tropical flower you can imagine but no white hibiscus. I do have to admit it was so much fun looking for them. LOL!
Berry Fusion is a blend of rosehips, hibiscus, orange and blackberry leaves, applie pieces, licorice root and natural berry flavors all combined for a delicious tea that has become my new favorite during the day!
To end the day you need to try the new Buttermint! It is a smooth blend of vanilla flavored peppermint tea that is so delicious you will want a second cup!
