That is how I was described this weekend at the SoFabCon conference I am attending in Bentonville, Arkansas
We did an exercise were we talked about our life and blogging journey in under 2 minutes. Our partners took the information we gave them and came up with words to describe us.
My partner said I was BOLD!
and I almost teared up a bit. Have you ever wondered what people think of your journey, of who you are and wonder how they would describe you? I had a bit of fear, trepidation and worry as we started the exercise but was also excited to hear what they had to say.
Bold is not a word I would have thought of to describe myself. I love it, have dreamed of being called it but never thought I had achieved it.
To hear someone I had never met before describe me in one word was amazing and scary.
I am embracing being called bold and holding myself to the description.
Now you won’t see me in neon animal print shorts, a glittery sparkle shirt and cat eye liner any time soon…..LOL!
That is not the bold I want to be or strive to be.
I want to be bold in my decisions, bold in my business, bold in my relationships and most of all bold in pushing myself to achieve my goals and dreams.
I want to use the tools I learned this weekend to push me forward to a new level, to push me to accept new projects, to push myself to try new things….VIDEO….eek I get a bit queasy thinking of it but I want to add video to the blog.
This weekend really reminded me that being bold is a good thing and I am on a path to achieve the goals I have set and keep raising them higher
oh did I tell you I was on stage in front of the entire conference…eek again!
Oh and that I talked about diapers and adult diapers on stage 🙂 I guess that is pretty bold….hee hee
I was talking about making sure that you blog what makes sense for you and not just everything that comes your way.
I am not a mom and I know nothing about diapers….i mean seriously nothing about diapers.
If I start blogging about baby diapers you all are going to think I have lost my mind. Though someone did challenge me this weekend to do a video diapering a teddy bear…we will see how bold I get and if that happens.
So today I am wondering what word would you use to describe yourself?
