Some days pixie dust just seems to fall from the sky with a bit of Disney magic. This has been one of those weeks. While I was in Orlando for the Zootopia Event, I received an email inviting me to attend the upcoming #FindingDoryEvent.
I seriously had to take a second just to breathe and soak in the moment. When I started writing, I never could have imagined the things it would lead too. The dreams it would fulfill and the opportunities that would be available.
After talking with John about me leaving while he is recovering from his surgery, we both agreed I would attend the #Finding Dory event. We talked about the trip, the opportunity to see the Monterey Bay Aquarium and my past life as a student of marine biology. I am so blessed to have a Husband, who not only gets me but understands my passions and what means the most to me.
So March 7th I will be hopping a flight to California for the event. We will be exploring the Monterey Bay Aquarium and learn about the research that went into creating the new Finding Dory Movie!
We will be posting updates all over social media with the hashtag #FindingDoryEvent. I can’t wait to share what I learn about Disney‘s Finding Dory!!!
Disney•Pixar’s “Finding Dory” reunites everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang, Dory, with her friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past. What can she remember? Who are her parents? And where did she learn to speak Whale? Directed by Andrew Stanton (“Finding Nemo,” “WALL•E”) and produced by Lindsey Collins (co-producer “WALL•E”), the film features the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton. “Finding Dory” swims into theaters June 17, 2016.
