Later this week I will be heading out on a New Brunswick Adventure. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest I have visited British Columbia fairly often. I am sad to say that I have not had the chance to visit the other provinces other than a quick trip to Toronto a few years ago. This weekend that will all change!
I am heading to New Brunswick for a great adventure. I will be traveling with 7 other writers and their families exploring as much as we possibly can.
In case you are wondering New Brunswick is located on the eastern coast of Canada right on the Atlantic Ocean.
I will be flying into Saint John to kick off the week. The eight of us are being split into two teams of 4 for the trip. Make sure and follow the hashtag #LetsGoNB to see live updates while we are visiting New Brunswick.
We are kicking off the trip in St. Andrews by the sea. We will be staying at the Algonquin Resort which looks absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait to explore the beach and hopefully get some amazing photos. During our time in this area we will be visiting the Fundy Discovery Aquarium and the Kingsbrae Garden.
One of the things I am crazy super excited about is the Jolly Breeze Tall Ship Whale Watching adventure. We will head out for a few hours to look for whales in the bay. I am so looking forward to this adventure. You all know I love anything to do with the water and marine life.
After exploring the waters and hopefully seeing a ton of whales we will head to Saint John to continue our exploration. Along the way I will be keeping my eyes peeled for fun photo stops. I keep seeing on the New Brunswick instagram account and Twitter account amazing world’s largest lobsters and a few other things.

We’re glad this one’s a statue, otherwise the world’s largest rooster would wake the entire town of @VilleShediac. pic.twitter.com/aw2bykaZu9

These are definitely on my must look for list! Once we reach Saint John we will be checking out the Reversing Rapids! Total bucket list moment. I am hoping I can juggle the camera, my phone and GoPro to get amazing photos and video to share with everyone. We will also be exploring the New Brunswick Museum and checking out the great hall of whales! In the afternoon we will head to St. Martins to check out the Fundy Trail Park. The next morning we are heading to Moncton for some more fun! The Magnetic Hill Zoo and Resurgo! Place transportation museum are on our list of places to check out. During our free time we are going to explore more of the area and hopefully eat a ton of amazing food. Our final full day includes stops at the Hopewell Cape and the Hopewell Rocks AND we get to see the World’s Largest Lobster! Woohoo! I can’t wait to share those pics! Dinner is going to be an experience unlike anything I have done before. We are heading out on a Lobster Tale excursion. We will learn all there is to know about lobsters and enjoy a lobster dinner. The next morning we will pack up and head home with tons of photos, videos and stories to share! I will be posting live updates to our Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages. I invite you to follow along and ask any questions or let me know if you have suggestions on things I need to see during my visit! Make sure and check out some of the amazing stops on our adventure!
