This is a sponsored post for Republic Wireless.

Can we all be honest and admit that our phones are our life lines to the world. Do you remember the game show where you had three lifelines that you could use? That is how I think of my phone and wireless service. Depending on the day my phone is my calendar, notebook, camera, encyclopedia, map, menu guide, social hub, and so much more. I will fully admit that only when I am in bed is my phone more than a foot or two from me. It sits next to me at my desk, it is in my pocket or purse through out the day. It is truly my lifeline.

With that being said I have been looking at different phone carriers to learn more about them and what they offer. I had the chance to work with Republic Wireless and learn about their services. Republic Wireless is a smartphone service that pioneered the idea of “WiFi first” resulting in tens of millions in annual savings for its customers.  They deliver high-quality connections and savings by using the less expensive WiFi network when possible and seamlessly connecting to nationwide 4G LTE cellular network whenever necessary.

One of the great things about Republic Wireless is their service starts at $15 a month! That’s it! Do you dread getting your phone bill in because you know it is going to feel like your entire paycheck went to pay for your phone? Check out Republic Wireless and customize a plan that works for your life! There are no contracts or hidden fees so you don’t have to stress that you are making a decision you have to live with for the rest of your life.

I was worried about what happens when wi-fi is not in the area I am visiting I learned that when outside of WiFi coverage, the smartphone works just like a typical smartphone on the cellular networks of national GSM and CDMA carriers.

As a bonus for our readers check out this great discount Republic Wireless sent us to share with all of you!

Some cool things to know about Republic Wireless:

The Republic Anywhere app launched on June 22! The Republic Anywhere app allows you to sync your Republic number with any device (laptops, phones & tablets) so you stay connected to your text messages even when you’re away from your Republic Wireless serviced phone. It’s free for all Republic Wireless members.

  • Send and receive text messages from your computer, using your phone number, just like you do on your phone.
  • Sync all your messages & contacts across devices, so all your messages are with you…no matter what device you are using.
  • De-stress those moments when you don’t have your phone. Since Anywhere works like another phone, you can stay in touch when your actual phone is lost (out of battery, or flew off the roof of your car…which has happened).

Recognized for offering the best basic plan by MONEY Magazine, a top pre-paid carrier choice by Consumer Reports and for excellence in user satisfaction by PC Magazine.

As you can see from the pictures I have been taking my Republic Wireless phone everywhere with me. From dropping off a surprise treat to my super cute husband at work to taking pics when we traveled to Mount Rainier National Park.

Since Republic Wireless runs on Wi-Fi first I don’t have to worry that I am racking up a huge cell phone bill. Our house is this weird zone where cell service isn’t the best and it always feels like we are struggling for service. Having the phone run off Wi-Fi has been seamless and so easy. I can keep in touch with my parents, talk to John during the day and if I am being completely honest play on social media when I need a break.

Our phones are our life lines so making sure we have the best coverage while not paying an arm and a leg is so important!
