During the Avengers Infinity War Event we had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Marlee Matlin and Executive Producer Michael Seitzman from Quantico. I am going to admit that prior to the event I had not watched Quantico but kept meaning to. I had been hearing so many great things about the show that I was so excited to see it on our itinerary.
We watched the 1st episode of Season 3 that premiered last week and it was fantastic. Season three is a reboot of the series so if you are like me and have missed the first two seasons you can jump right in on Thursday nights right now!
The reboot has the perfect mix of catching up new readers to the story line and giving fans new tidbits to love. Plus how can you not love Marlee Matlin as a CIA expert and sniper. She is ah-mazing!
I should also admit that I totally fan girled over Marlee Matlin. In college I spent over a year studying American Sign Language and was fluent at that time. When I learned that we would be talking with Marlee Matlin I was so dang excited but also so nervous. Would I remember any of the sign language that I used to know. Would I flop my hands around and say the wrong thing….eek!
I am beyond happy to say that I had the opportunity to talk in sign with Marlee Matlin and it was so crazy amazing. I didn’t go crazy with my signing because who knows what I would have ended up saying but I was able to introduce myself and thank her for meeting with us.
I wish I could show this picture to my college ASL teacher because I know she would be so dang excited that what she taught me stayed with me for well over 20 years.
OK, now back to Quantico and a little less fan girling from me. LOL!
Make sure and watch tonight’s episode – Fear and Flesh!
In tracking down the origin of a deadly strain of tuberculosis threatening Americans, Agent Ryan Booth must go undercover and infiltrate a white supremacist organization – an assignment that threatens the life of another member of the team.
