During my trip to Thailand, we attempted to visit Phu Ruea National Park but sadly it was seriously foggy! Our guide was so sad that we couldn’t see the gorgeous mountains and views from Phu Ruea National Park. We were sad but also had a great time during our visit.
We decided to embrace the fog and have a great time playing in it. We wandered along seeing how far we could go until we couldn’t see each other.
We heard that the special characteristic of the park is an overhanging cliff in the shape similar to the prow of a junk.
We spent our entire visit just playing in the fog and having a great time. There was a small food shack on site that served local food and coffee. Since we had just enjoyed a huge breakfast at the hotel we didn’t get a chance to try any of them.
You know I had to find the one cat in the area and try to talk with it.
As we were leaving, we stopped at a really nice overlook. The sun started to shine through the fog just enough to grab a couple of fun nature shots.
One of the things I love about travel is you just never know what you are going to run into. This trip definitely reminded me of how much we can not control the weather. We still managed to have a lot of fun and really enjoy our time at Phu Ruea National Park in Thailand
