I spend a lot of time on the road traveling and exploring looking for new places to share on the blog. One of my biggest fears is losing all of my photos if something were to happen to my laptop or camera. I am always trying to back up photos and make sure I have them saved. When Best Buy emailed and asked if I wanted to check out the SanDisk Extreme 1TB External Harddrive I jumped at the chance. This small hard drive has become my lifeline to getting work done while traveling.
One thing about traveling is there is a lot of hurry up and wait. It feels like you are always running for a flight and then sitting for hours on end. Running to make a meeting and then spending time in a hotel room trying to get things done while combating jet lag has been my life story for a while now. The past few weeks have been filled with so much jet lag it is crazy. The 9 hour time change from the Czech Republic hit me hard when I flew home. Knowing I would be leaving again soon for Africa I didn’t really try to fight the jet lag and get back onto Spokane time. This made for a lot of really early mornings and trying to get work done.
While I was in Memphis visiting St. Jude Children’s Hospital the SanDisk Extreme Hard Drive was a lifesaver. I woke up so early in the hotel room due to jetlag and was able to get so much work done because I had photos and documents stored on the hard drive. I was able to easily access my documents and not stress about not having them with me. I love that there is 1 Terabyte of space on this little hard drive. You wouldn’t believe it can hold so much when you see how small it is. I can easily fit the hard drive in my purse and it barely weighs a thing.
Plus this little SanDisk Hard Drive is rugged and water resistant. You don’t have to stress if something spills near it or you drop it into your bag while on the go. You can edit and store photos and videos during your trip and know that they are always easily accessible to you.
