The Fathom Adonia is a pretty small cruise ship that currently sails to the Dominican Republic and Cuba. The ship was a P&O ship so there are some fun British touches in the ship. Today we are sharing a tour of the Fathom Adonia Cruise Ship.
There are so many small touches that truly make the Fathom Adonia different from other cruise ships. From the artwork to the quotes to the postcard board you will see things on this ship that you haven’t seen on other cruise ships.
The pool deck is home to not only the pool but also quite a few nightly parties! You can join the Super Hero party or try your hand at dancing. There is a walking track, ample seating and a pool bar to keep you hydrated while relaxing on sea days!
I know it may sound odd to tell you to explore the hallways of a ship but trust me! Reading these boards outside of the rooms is sooo much fun!
If you are looking to relax with a lovely cocktail this is the place to be. The lounge is centrally located and has this casual but upscale vibe that is perfect for talking with friends and relaxing.
Ocean Grill Restaurant
Hello yum! The Dominican food served in the Ocean Grill is fantastic. You have the chance to try so many great options. There is a small charge for the restaurant but it is so worth it!
Another must visit during a trip on the Fathom Adonia! Hello wine! Organic wine flights, comfy chairs and a great view out to sea. The Glass House is the perfect place for a pre-dinner drink before hopping over to the Ocean Grill.
This is a must visit on your cruise! From the custom painting on the ceiling to the amazing variety of books in the library. Fathom reached out to their employees and Carnival Cruise Corporation employees and had them send in their favorite books and authors. The library is filled with books chosen by employees. I found so many I would love to read.
The Sky Deck is located on deck 11 and has about 50 lounge chairs on it. Perfect for soaking up the Caribbean sun! Check out the artwork that was done during our cruise. It is all done by Shantell Martin inspired by her trip on Fathom.
Fathom Adonia Shops
Pre-warning the shops on the Fathom Adonia are dangerous! So many amazing things to buy and check out. I came home with a gorgeous bag from India that I love. I use it as my primary travel bag now and get compliments on it daily. The jewelry in the Fathom Adonia shops was also really beautiful.
While not found in a specific place on board the Curiosity Boxes are definitely something to keep an eye out for. They can be found in stairwells, in the coffee shop, in the restaurants or really anyplace on board the Fathom Adonia. Take a moment to pause and enjoy the message in each box.
The small touches that are unique to Fathom are pretty darn impressive. The designs, inspiration and small touches truly make this ship different from any cruise ship I have been on.
