Happy Snowy Cold Wintery Janary! Oh my goodness! I am pretty sure most of my conversations outside of the blog this week have been about snow and cold weather. This winter is hitting the Spokane area hard and we are all learning to deal with it.
I spent this week soaking up my final full week at home for a few weeks. I set a huge goal to-do list of life things at the beginning of the month and I have been trying to get them all done before I fly to Vegas at the end of the week.
One nice thing about it being so cold is I don’t feel bad hanging out at home and not leaving much. It is the perfect reason to dive into some projects that have been needing to get done for a while.
So here we go! My random, cold, week at home and then some fun adventures in Vegas
I am trying to take time each week to read a book, drink some chai and take time away from the computer.
Date night at the INB downtown Spokane to see Pippin!
Hearing our fortunes in Vegas!
Remember when we went on the Fathom cruise this past year. This tattoo is the result of a guided meditation class that we took. Amy from MomSpark got the same one. I will write out a post explaining it all soon.
Wine of the Week – This week our wine of the week isn’t really a wine of the week, well it is sort of…hmm. We are enjoying glasses of Morwald Red Wine Liqueur which we picked up on our Viking River Cruise on the Danube.
As you can see we have actually been enjoying this for the past month or so since we got home from the cruise. It has such an amazing flavor. We only brought two bottles home and now I am regretting not buying more. In case you missed it check out our Wachau Valley Wine Tasting Tour we did at Morwald Winery. It was one of our favorite excursions on our Viking River Cruise.
The new Viking River Cruise and Ocean Cruise brochures came in this week. I am going to fully admit that I have been going through them page by page dreaming of cruising with Viking again. So many amazing destinations! I just read that in 2018-19 they are going to have Journeys of Discovery to Asia and Australia! Can you imagine going on one of their Grand Voyages for 29 days! Talk about a bucket list experience. They even have a 64-day cruise from Athens to Beijing! I can’t imagine what all you would see by the end of that cruise. I am pretty sure I would take about a million pictures or more.
The dream bucket list trip is their World Cruise that goes for 141 days from Miami to London and includes 35 countries and 66 ports. Oh my god, that would be amazing! Talk about a life changing experience. You would see so much of the world and learn so much history, culture and experience things you could never imagine before boarding the ship.
Don’t even get me started on all of the amazing Viking River Cruises we have been dreaming about. Can you tell that we fell in love during our Castles & Legends cruise on the Danube.
