Hi From Alaska! We flew into Fairbanks this weekend and are heading to Wrangell St. Elias National Park! I can’t wait to share photos and tell you about our experience soon. This is a brand new park for us so we are crazy excited to explore it.
Looking back on this week it was filled with a ton of life stuff. This summer I am really focused on getting our house cleaned out, organized and looking the way we want it to. One of the highlights of the week was making a donation to Ronald McDonald House in Spokane. We have decided to go almost 100% digital for our movies. We brought bags of DVDs and Blu-rays to Ronald McDonald House for the families staying there to enjoy. They told us that they have a movie library and families can check out movies to watch together.
I am so excited that our movies will hopefully help families that are going through a really rough time have a moment of entertainment.
A huge storm hit Spokane to kick off the week! We had a torrential downpour, crazy winds, and some serious rain. Right after the storm, we were treated to this amazing sunset.
The rest of the week was spent at my desk working on more blog posts to share with you! I have set the goal of sharing at least one crock pot recipe a week until the end of the year! So while I have been home the crock pot has been going and I have been working on new recipes to share. Tomorrow we are sharing a Nashville Hot Chicken Recipe that I think you will love!
A change from the crock pot recipes but trust me they are coming! For now I am off to grab a few hours of sleep before we hop a plane to Fairbanks, Alaska! I can’t wait to share photos and updates from our newest national park adventures.
