Open the can of cinnamon bun dough. Separate the buns and cut each bun into quarters.
Line a 6 cup muffin tin with cupcake liners or grease them well.
Roll 5 little sections of the dough and mound them in the cupcake liner.
Drizzle 1 tablespoon of maple syrup into each cupcake cup.
Sprinkle each mound with crushed pecans.
Bake for approximately 8 – 10 minutes or until they are browned and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let cool to warm.
To garnish, heat the icing in the microwave for 10 seconds so that the consistency is slightly runny. Drizzle the icing over all the mounds. To eat, pull each little section apart and dip in icing or spread with a tiny bit of butter.
