Krumkake Recipe

This Krumkake Recipe has been passed down in our family and we are so excited to share it with you! These are our favorite Norwegian krumkake holiday treats!

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 scant cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup flour


  • Cream butter and sugar, add in beaten eggs
  • Add in milk and then flour
  • Bake on Krumkake iron, make sure to check the heat of the Krumkake iron so they do not burn
  • Roll on end of wooden spoon or with Krumkake rollers


Make sure you have salt nearby in case the dough drips onto the burner and flames up
Make sure your Krumkake Iron is hot but not too hot so they burn instantly
