Heat oil in a skillet, add onions and garlic, cook until softened and lightly browned. Add in brown sugar, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, huckleberry jelly, Worcestershire Sauce, and chili powder. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Place ribs in the crock pot, pour ½ of the barbecue sauce over the ribs. Cook on low for 8-9 hours.
Remove ribs from the crock pot and pour remaining barbecue sauce over the top
