I used the pre-filled Cupcake Icing canisters that come with the icing tips. I used the waffle weave tip to make the straps of the flip-flops and the star for the flower on top. You can also use cute flower sprinkles and decorations for these. I found some great flowers around Easter so I bought a few extra containers to have on hand all summer when I make these.
When using the cans of premade icing make sure and test them out on a paper towel or napkin first. The first few times I went to use them they squirted all over the place. It took a few tries to get them to come out evenly. I try to keep lots of paper towels and napkins on hand since the bright colors of the icing can stain your fingers.
