We had so much fun eating our way through the great food and amazing restaurants in the area.
Many of these restaurants are local favorites for a reason! From great steaks to delicious cocktails, these restaurants serve unbelievable food you need to try.
The food scene in Ridgeland, Mississippi, is amazing. We were not sure what to expect when we planned our Ridgeland MS trip to explore the Natchez Trace Parkway and the surrounding area.
As we explored Ridgeland, we found a food scene that features the classic Southern fare you would expect in Mississippi but also has amazing diversity in restaurant options.
After our first day we were already talking about needing to plan return visits to try more restaurants in Ridgeland, MS. There are truly so many great options I promise you will not leave hungry.
Aplos Simple Mediterranean
Aplos Simple Mediterranean focuses on using fresh, authentic ingredients to create food that is found in Italy, Greece, and the Middle East.
You can enjoy flavorful meats, Italian Neapolitan Pizzas, and so much more served in a fast fine dining atmosphere.
I NEED you to go to Aplos and try honestly anything on the menu. I fell madly deeply in love with their creamy whipped feta dip and can't wait to try to make it at home. I would have bought it by the gallon if I could have.
We had great service while at Aplos and the vibe is perfection.

Local 463 Urban Kitchen focuses on using fresh local and regional ingredients to create Southern comfort food with a big city twist.
If you are looking for an epic date night in Ridgeland, MS you will love Local 463 Urban Kitchen. The food is delicious, the atmosphere amazing, and it feels like the perfect date restaurant.
The best steak my husband has had in a while was at Local 463. They have a fantastic list of fine wines to pair with your meal along with signature cocktails.
Menu highlights - Mississippi Fruit cobbler, Seared pork belly, Mushroom and Truffle flatbread, Wood grilled Gulf Shrimp, Apricot Teriyaki Glazed grilled salmon, Wood grilled Duroc pork chop, DR. pepper Braised beef short ribs, Super Kobe Burger, and so many more options.

Anjou
Anjou offers dine-in and takeout for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. When we started researching Ridgeland Restaurants we knew we had to visit Anjou after seeing their amazing menu and food photos.
They have a gorgeous outdoor seating overlooking a small lake. The indoors seating is beautiful and refined while still being comfortable.
We visited for brunch and our meal was exceptional. Every single bite was delicious. This was the first time we experienced a savory beignet with the zucchini beignets and they blew our mind.
My husband had the escargot and said it was fantastic. If we lived in Ridgeland this would be one of our favorite restaurants to visit often.
Menu highlights - Brunch Mimosas, savory zucchini beignets, escargots De Bourgogne, fried oysters, Mussels (poulette or Paris butter), Croque Monsieur, French dip, Cafe de Paris Burger, and so much more.

Krilakis Greek Gyros and Salads is a must visit for a delicious Greek salad, gyro plate, and epic fries.
This neighborhood restaurant is a casual comfortable place the entire family will love.

Appetizers - Pita melt, hummus, falafel, dolmades, calamari, Greek nachos, Loaded Fries, and feta fries.
Authentic Gyros - Lamb, grilled chicken, mesquite turkey, grilled tilapia, grilled redfish, pork tenderloin, grilled shrimp, grilled steak, ground beef, falafel, and veggie.
Specialty Gyros come with mozzarella cheese, feta cheese, grilled red onion, tomato, and homemade tzatziki sauce.

Pelican Cove Grill
Located on Barnett Reservoir you can enjoy great food with a fantastic view of the water. Dine inside the restaurant or on the back deck next to the water.
They have a great live music schedule, drinks, food, and the views are epic.

Baskets - Chicken, Shrimp, Catfish, and a low country boil.
Starters - Spicy fried green beans, fried pickles, cheese wedges, chicken wings, steak bites, crab claws, ahi tuna, gator bites, royal reds, and smoked tuna dip.
Sandwiches/Wraps - Burger, Fish tacos, shrimp po'boy, chicken wrap, shrimp wrap, and a turkey bacon club.

Buenos Aries Bakery
This Argentinian bakery serves breakfast and lunch along with coffee, pastries, and custom cakes.
They have a great selection of sandwiches, sweet treats, and drinks available. I need you to try the lemon cookies. oh my goodness they were so good.
Menu highlights - Everything! They have so many great options for sweet treats we had a hard time deciding what to get.

We tried a couple of different Ridgeland Coffee Shops during our visit and can't wait to return and try some more.
Ridgeland Coffee Co.
This drive thru coffee shop in Ridgeland served a fantastic caramel macchiato and chai tea. The gentleman who helped us was super sweet and so much fun to talk with.

This local favorite was packed when we were there. They have a small breakfast menu and a great menu of tea and coffee drinks.

The Lily Pad Cafe
The Lily Pad Cafe opened in December 2024 and is a not-for-profit restaurant dedicated to creating meaningful employement opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The restaurants mission is to empower, train, and prepare employees for future career opportunities.
To experience The Lily Pad Cafe, reservations are currently required to help team members plan, host, and serve. For more information about the cafe, its mission, or how to support its efforts, visit thelilypadms.com. The Lily Pad Café is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the first Saturday of each month.
