    Key West Travel Tips

Key West is one of our favorite places to visit any chance we get. There is just something amazing about the city at the end of the road. Plus the drive to Key West is gorgeous. Make sure and plan extra time for stops along the way.

If you are driving to Key West keep an eye out for dolphins as you drive. Each time we have driven to Key West we have seen at least a couple of dolphins along the way.

OK now it makes perfect sense that Key Lime Pie would be incredible in Key West! I never put two and two together! Thank you so much for the suggestions, I like to read about the cool things to do in other towns from the people who go there. I just did a post about this very thing.

My husband and I made plans to go to key West last year and never made it! I've always wanted to go stroll Duvall Street, eat REAL key lime pie and visit Earnest Hemmingway's house!

Now that I live abroad, I don't think Key West is in my future travel plans, but I've always wanted to see Hemingway's cats! It has to be a better experience than Harry's Bar in Venice, which was a Hemingway haunt in the 40s-50s and now thinks it's ok to charge 9 Euros for a Coke based on that pedigree.

The cats are so cute! We didn't make it to Harry's Bar when we were in Venice. It is good to know that we should be prepared for their prices.

Its been a hundred years since I have been to Key West. Your post is making me want to go back and see how it's changed. It is so beautiful and the people are amazing. And to say my mouth is watering of the thought of key lime pie is an understatement.

Key Lime Pie must be their specialty in the area. Haha! How good was it? Now I'm getting curious on how it tastes like. 🙂 The butterfly garden must be very pretty and the backdrops would serve as great natural theme for pictorials. I love Alice in Wonderland.

Pretty sure I am the most obsessed person with palm trees. Any time I see one, I have to either talk about it, or take a photo of them. I'm kinda stoked to check out Key West some time, especially for the fact that I am in love with key lime pies, and I bet they know their pies. Oh, and the sunsets... I bet they're unreal there.
