I have to admit that I hadn't tried the Restorative Basil Drop at the Alchemy Bar until our Carnival Panorama Cruise.

If I am being honest I always seem to order the same Alchemy Bar cocktails including The Deal Closer, Forty is the new Twenty and Martini Seduction.

During our Carnival Panorama Cruise to the Mexican Riviera we challenged ourselves to try every drink on the Alchemy Bar menu we hadn't tried.

It was so fun going outside of our comfort zone and falling in love with new drinks. The Restorative Basil Drop was such an amazing surprise.

This is the perfect drink for a hot summer day. Cool and refreshing with super light flavors that work so well together.

It is an incredibly well-balanced cocktail.ย  You could easily double or quadruple this recipe and serve it in a pitcher for a picnic or barbecue.

Check out all of the Alchemy Bar Recipes we have shared.

You can find the Alchemy Bar on the majority of Carnival Cruise Ships. With the new ships, they have moved the Alchemy Bar to midship making it a great place to stop before dinner.

If you are on an older ship you may have to look for the Alchemy Bar but it is worth it! Make sure to visit early in the cruise. By the end of the cruise, most of the passengers will have figured out how amazing the Alchemy Bar is and will be heading there.

This was the first drink I'd ever tried at the Alchemy Bar, and I absolutely love it! Can't wait to cruise again on the Panorama next October.
