I can't believe I am typing this .....My Mom is a genius! ย Just don't tell her I put that in writing! I will never hear the end of it! ๐Ÿ™‚ The last time we visited my parents my Mom opens up the freezer and pulls out Make-Ahead Freezer Strawberry Margaritas and my mind was blown!

I am not sure why I had never thought of makingย Make Ahead Freezer Strawberry Margaritas but leave it to my Mom to make them and shock me.

My Mom decided to stock her freezer with Make-Ahead Freezer Strawberry Margaritas while making strawberry margaritas one evening. She figured why not make them ahead of time so they can enjoy them whenever they want to.

She cheats and uses a bottled strawberry margarita mix and just adds tequila when she makes them. She uses small mason jars to hold the Make-Ahead Freezer Strawberry Margaritas and places them in the freezer. When she knows they are having people over or they want to have one later in the day she moves a couple from the freezer to the fridge.

In a pinch, you can microwave the jars without the lids for 10-second intervals until you get the consistency you like.

If you don't want to cheat with a pre-made bottle of mix here is one of my favorite recipes for Strawberry Margaritas
