I asked John to help me come up with a fun new recipe using Johnsonville Brats for the Fourth of July. We are both still trying to wrap our brains around the idea that the Fourth of July is next week.

Now the weather is gorgeous it is time for barbecuing and enjoying nights outside. We dusted off the barbecue and started working on a new recipe. I thought it would be fun to make caramelized onions with a beer-cheese sauce but John had his own ideas. He decided that we needed to make a fun new spin on an Apple Cider Beer Brat Recipe.

So this recipe is brought to you by my dear Husband who came up with it. We headed to the grocery store and John found all the ingredients he needed along with the perfect side dishes for his new recipe. I love it when my husband joins me in the kitchen and we get to create recipes together. It is so much fun to argue over ingredients and test to see whose recipe turns out better.

I am going to admit in writing that John came up with a pretty darn fantastic Fourth of July recipe with this Apple Cider Beer Brat Recipe. It is easy to make and sure to please a crowd!

One of the best things about cooking with Johnsonville Brats is there are so many ways to customize them. You can easily create recipes your entire family will love.
