    They are not super sweet but taste oh so amazing. I am pretty sure they are my new favorite fall cookie recipe.

    The perfect combination of apple flavor and oatmeal. Oh and they are easy to make which is a bonus point all its own.

    Ingredients:

    • Quick oats
    • Flour
    • Baking powder
    • Salt
    • Cinnamon
    • Nutmeg
    • Brown sugar
    • White sugar
    • Butter
    • Egg
    • Applesauce

    Ingredients

    • 1 ¾ cup Quick oats
    • 1 ½ cup All Purpose Flour
    • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
    • ½ Teaspoon Salt
    • 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
    • ½ Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
    • 1 cup Brown Sugar Packed
    • ½ cup White Sugar
    • ½ cup Butter softened
    • 1 Egg
    • 1 cup Applesauce

    Instructions

    • Combine oats, flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg and set aside.
    • In a separate mixing bowl, combine sugars, add butter and beat until creamy.
    • Add egg and applesauce and blend until smooth.
    • Add flour-oat mix and blend.
    • Add in raisins
    • Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    • Bake at 350, 10-12 minutes Yield 3 dozen

      I love this time of year and all the yummy flavors. Apple flavored treats make it seem like the weather should be cooling and we should be wearing cozy sweaters.
