During my trip to Grapevine, Texas this past week, I quickly realized that everything is bigger in Texas. Including celebrating Christmas at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas. WOW!

From the moment you walk into the hotel, you can't help but smile and get in the holiday spirit.

I took time one morning super early to just wander the hotel and take pictures. It was amazing to see just how much of the hotel was decorated. From the front lobby to the side entrances everywhere you look there is holiday decorations.

These are not small little candy canes hung on a tree these are huge, massive, over the top amazing decorations.

One of my favorite parts of the display is how it changes during the day into night. During the day, you can see the details and just how many decorations there are. When the sun goes down the lights go up and WOW! A visual spectacular of lights greets you all over this amazing Christmas hotel.

Here are some of my favorite photos from exploring and celebrating Christmas at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine Texas.

If you visit the Gaylord Texan to celebrate Christmas make sure and check out the ICE! Exhibit also.

Millions of pounds of ice have been carved into holiday displays promoting peace on earth and joy. It is truly a spectacular site to see. Plus how often do you get to bundle up in a parka and enjoy a crisp 9 degrees in Texas 🙂

I have to say I was so impressed with the Gaylord Texan and Grapevine, Texas. They truly have earned the title of Christmas Capital of Texas. There are so many things to see, do and enjoy during a visit to Grapevine.

They host over 1,400 Christmas events during the holidays! OH MY GOSH!

With 2 million twinkling lights, 15,000 ornaments, an amazing 54-foot-tall Christmas tree, an 8-foot-tall gingerbread house, Santa's Wild Workshop Snow Tubing, Cookies and Milk with Mrs. Claus, and ICE! carved from more than 2 million pounds of ice.

Check out these other great Christmas hotels in the US! There are so many great places to celebrate the holidays.

Wow the Gaylord Texan really knows how to rock the holidays! I especially love that faux longhorn and the giant star on top of the tree.
