Mai Tai Recipe that may surprise you

Published: May 17, 2015 · This post may contain affiliate links

Prior to taking a mixology class at the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas, I had always seen Mai Tai Cocktails served in giant glasses with tons of garnishes. I was pleasantly surprised by this Mai Tai Recipe.  The flavor is out of this world! Not sugary sweet like the Mai Tai cocktails I was used to.

I don't think that I have ever had a Mai Tai before. This sounds like a great cocktail to whip up at home.

I don't think I've ever had a Mai Tai but I love sweet drinks. Even though you say it isn't as sweet as the original, I would totally try it!

I do not drink because I am nursing my baby. I have never heard of rock candy syrup, sounds yummy!

Oh, I LOVE a good Mai Tai!! I've never made one myself, perhaps I should give it a whirl. Thanks for the recipe, definitely bookmarking this one for later! Perfect summer drink!
