This Malibu Rum and Coke cocktail is a fun twist on a Cuba Libre (White Rum, Fresh Lime Juice, and Coke).

Coke and Malibu Rum has a refreshing taste and is the perfect drink when you want an easy 2 ingredient cocktail.

This popular drink is so easy to make and you can change the ratio of Malibu Coconut Liqueur to Coke based on your preference.

I love the flavor of this easy drink. It has a tropical coconut flavor balances with the Coke flavor.

How to make a Malibu Rum and Coke Cocktail

I've included complete instructions in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post, but here's a quick version.

    Preparation and Storage

Make Ahead โ€“ This is not a cocktail you want to make beforehand. You don't want to lose the bubbles from the coke.

Storage โ€“ We do not suggest storing this cocktail since the bubbles in the coke will disappear, which is half the fun of the cocktail.

    Recipe Variations

Substitutions - Use regular, Diet Coke, or a flavored Coke.

Vegetarian Option - This recipe is vegetarian.

Vegan Option โ€“ This recipe is vegan.

Smaller Serving Size โ€“ This cocktail recipe can easily be adapted to a smaller glass.

Larger Group/More servings โ€“ If you are serving this for a party I would set out large bottles of Coke, Diet Coke, and Flavored Coke and let people create their own custom Malibu & Coke Cocktails.
