Crazy milkshakes at The Yard
Imagine an overflowing mason jar filled with sweet goodness! Choose from the Unicorn with a birthday cupcake on top, Smores with a giant chocolate coated smores on top or even the Caramel Cheesecake that has a full slice of cheesecake on top of it.
Don’t worry you can also get a single cup or shake that is not a crazy shake at the Yard. They even have edible cookie dough you can put in a waffle cone. Fill all your cookie dough cravings and get a double scoop piled in a cone.
Be prepared for a bit of line depending on what time of year you go! This sweet treat establishment just opened in May 2017 and is super popular with both locals and tourists! Trust us it is worth the wait!
Sassy Bass Crazy Donuts
Are donuts more your speed? What about a flatline donut that has two hamburger patties, candied bacon bits, mozzarella and cheddar cheese squished between glazed donut bun.. Yes, it really is a thing. They also have a donut burger that includes pulled pork and cheese whiz.
If you are looking for a festive donut try the margarita donut or the strawberry swirl that is filled with strawberry goodness and topped with a giant strawberry. They also offer flavors like Tiramisu, cereal coated and more!
Oh and pizza donuts! We didn’t have a chance to try those but they are definitely on the list for our next visit to Gulf Shores.
Key Lime Pie at LuLu’s
LuLu’s is a Gulf Shores institution for a reason! This restaurant serves up good food and a killer slice of Key Lime Pie. One of the things we love is they offer multiple allergy menus so you don’t have to worry if you are allergic to gluten, soy, or other food items. Just ask for the special allergy menus.

Also, check out the Gulf Shores visitor bureaus Key Lime trail…yum!
White Chocolate Coconut Bread Pudding at Fishers
Oh hello yum! This White Chocolate Coconut Bread Pudding will make any coconut fan smile from ear to ear! We split it between three of us and there wasn’t a drop left on the plate. This is the perfect way to end a fantastic meal at Fisher’s Dockside.
Don’t worry you don’t have to just get dessert you can also enjoy a heaping platter of shrimp and grits, seafood catch of the day and the must try root beer sweet potatoes
I would go back just for the sweet potatoes..hmm maybe that should be its own sweet treat not to miss!
Key Lime Tart at Coast Gulf Cuisine at the Beach Club
Another key lime treat that you need to try! This key lime tart is not super key lime in your face but instead of nicely balanced with the crust. The key lime tart can easily be shared or dived headfirst on your own. Don’t worry we won’t just you at all! We completely understand wanting to face plant into this key lime goodness!
