After making this recipe I am pretty sure I will never order Potato Skins at a restaurant again.

Oh my goodness these are so easy and taste amazing!

It is really hard to order potato skins at a restaurant now that we have made them at home. They are so good.

These potato skins are perfect for parties or dinner. We like to enjoy them while relaxing at home and watching a movie.

The perfect handheld filling appetizer that tastes great and is a fun twist on our normal family dinner.

    Ingredientsย

    • Baking potatoes
    • Sour cream
    • Ranch dressing dry mix or garlic powder (depending on your choice)
    • Shredded cheddar cheese
    • Green Onions
    • Bacon pieces

Garnish with green onions or bacon bits

You could easily make these in the air fryer. When I created this recipe back in 2013 we didn't have an air fryer.

    Ingredients

    • 4 Potatoes cut in ยผ's
    • ยผ Cup Sour Cream
    • Ranch dressing mix or garlic powder
    • 1 Cup cheddar cheese shredded
    • Green Onions Sliced
    • Bacon Sliced

    Instructions

    • Bake potatoes until you can cut them. I did 4 potatoes for 14 minutes in the microwave. Remember to cut into the potatoes so they vent while cooking
    • Cut the potatoes into ยผ's and scoop the potato down to the skins
    • Combine Potatoes with sour cream and either garlic powder or ranch dressing mix pack
    • Fill skins with the mixture
    • Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes, until cheese is melted
    • I broiled mine at the end for a few seconds to get the nice brown color on the cheese
    • Garnish with green onions or bacon bits
