My dear Husband loves Chilis Queso. I am pretty sure he would visit the restaurant weekly just to have their queso. I decided to surprise him and make this Crock Pot Copycat Chilis Queso Recipe so he could enjoy it at home.

This is truly one of his favorite appetizers to order! How can you go wrong with a delicious queso dip recipe that is crazy easy to make! I love being able to make our own version of copycat chili's skillet queso in the slow cooker.

Ingredients needed to make Chili' Queso in the slow cooker

  • Velveeta cheese
  • Chili with no beans
  • Milk
  • Lime juice
  • Paprika
  • Cumin
  • Cayenne
  • Chili powder

Equipment needed

Slow Cooker - The size of the slow cooker depends on how many portions of this recipe you are making. This recipe can easily be doubled or quadrupled depending on the number of people you are serving. You want to make sure there is enough space in the slow cooker to be able to easily stir the queso.

Crockpot - We suggest using a crockpot that has a digital timer that automatically switches the slow cooker to warm after a set amount of time. This helps make sure your dinner cooks perfectly and you don't have to stress about what time it is going to be done.
