Bay Breeze Drink is an easy fruity cocktail perfect for brunch or relaxing with friends. This cocktail is very fruit-forward using vodka for minimal alcohol flavoring. You can serve this on its own or in a pitcher for a larger group.

I love how easy the Bay Breeze Drink is to prepare. You only need three simple pantry ingredients to prepare this fruity cocktail.

This cocktail is similar to a Cape Codder but has the addition of pineapple juice. This is an easy cocktail recipe to remember so you can wow guests and friends by making it for them. I try to keep small bottles of cranberry juice and pineapple juice in the pantry at all times just in case we need them for a drink recipe.

The small containers are perfect for making one or two cocktails and not having to throw out or find something to make with a huge jug of pineapple juice. Don't get me wrong I love making tropical beachy cocktails but somedays that is a lot of pineapple juice to use.

This Bay Breeze Cocktail is absolutely perfect for brunch or afternoons with friends. It is fruit-forward in flavor so it tastes amazing. You can change the recipe up a bit and use a fruit-flavored vodka to add even more fruity flavors to this refreshing drink

    Recipe Tips

You can change this to 2 parts cranberry to 1 part pineapple juice if you prefer the cranberry flavor.

To add bubbles to this cocktail you can top it with prosecco, sprite, or a bit of tonic water

The Bay Breeze is also known as a Downeaster or a Hawaiian Sea Breeze.

You will see many variations of this cocktail including many that use a light rum or malibu rum for the additional coconut flavor.

Can you make a Pitcher of Bay Breeze Cocktails?

Yes! You will want to keep the ratio of 1 part vodka to 3 parts fruit juice.

Example - 6 oz vodka combined with 9 oz pineapple juice and 9 oz cranberry juice. Feel free to adapt this with more of one fruit juice and less of the other depending on which flavor you like the most.

You can float lime wedges in the drink or serve them in a bowl next to the glassware for guests to garnish their own cocktails.

What is the difference between a Bay Breeze and a Sea Breeze?

A bay breeze is made with vodka, pineapple juice, and cranberry juices compared to a Sea Breeze which is made with grapefruit juice and cranberry juice.

What is a Malibu Bay Breeze?

A Malibu Bay Breeze has Malibu coconut rum, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice. Garnished with pineapple slices or pineapple wedges.
